We have a very good working relationship with New Zealands Insurance Industry and do work for most of the well known brands. We can do most repairs, but, if your accident damage is something we can't handle, we will refer you to one of our outwork partners. In these cases, we are more than happy to work for you as a project manager.
We carry out insurance assessments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Only. Bookings are essential for insurance assessments, and our office staff are happy to arrange a suitable day and time.
1 Contact your Insurance Company or Broker
They will then give you a Claim Number. This is simply a claim reference Number, NOT an acceptance of a claim.
2. Contact B2B RV and make a time for an assessment to be carried out.
On the appointed day we will take the required photographs, and also photograph the damage, and itemise precise damage. (In some instance, we may need the vehicle to be left with us, so we can get quotes from specific outwork companies). If there is "minimal" damage and no painting or decals are involved, our assessment should only take 1/2 an hour.
3. Quoting.
B2B RV, now sit down with the notes and images and work out a quote to present to the Insurance companies assessor.
4. Assessing
In most cases, the company doing the assessing, will be able to assess the damage from the photos that we present with our quote. In some instances, they may request that we supply larger or clearer images, or, indeed, in extreme instances they may decide to send an assessor in person, to inspect the damage. Once their assessment has been done, they will advise us if the assessment has been accepted. WE CANNOT CARRY OUT ANY WORK UNTIL WE HAVE THIS ACCEPTANCE
5. Booking your repair
We can now book your vehicle in for repair and begin the work.
6. Completion
Once your repair is completed, we will advise you that it is ready for collection. At this stage, you need to pay us the Excess amount before taking the vehicle from our premises
